The Smok Species Kit has been designed for sub ohm vaping. It includes both the Smok Species Mod with a 230W output, as well as the Smok TFV8 Baby 2 vape tank which features a 2ml capacity and a range of compatible coils. The kit is powered by dual 18650 vape batteries (sold separately) and is recommended for advanced users.
The Smok Species Mod features an ergonomic shape so it sits well in the hand, coupled with a lightweight yet sturdy Zinc Alloy construction. The front of the device a large 1.45 Inch touchscreen can be found, with the upgraded user interface making it easy to navigate. The left-hand panel is actually a large firing button for easier operation.
The chipset built into the Species gives users access to a range of output modes and customizable themes, for a bespoke vape experience. These output modes include Variable Wattage Mode and Temperature Control Mode.
Variable Wattage Mode is a classic way to control both cloud and flavour, allowing users to increase and decrease the wattage output of the Species up to 230W; it can also help you to find the sweet spot for vapour production. The TFV8 V2 Tank suits the high wattages that this box can provide for an intense vape.
Temperature Control Mode, on the other hand, allows for a maximum temperature to be set, once your coil reaches this temperature your device will stop firing. This mode, when used correctly, will stop your coils from becoming too hot, burning and causing a dry hit. Please note only certain coil wire types can be used in this mode.
The TFV8 Baby V2 Tank is a redeveloped version of the popular TFV8 Baby tank. It boasts a Stainless Steel construction and a large 25mm diameter that sits flush on Species mod. The locking top fill mechanism stops leaking and allows for quick and efficient refilling
The triple bottom airflow allows for a greater intake of air, which in turn creates larger clouds. Fully adjustable it can be configured to provide a more restricted draw for an emphasis on flavour, or opened all the way for maximum cloud production. A wide bore drip tip allows for deeper inhaling and a cooler vape.
The Smok A1 coil that’s preinstalled has a low 0.17 Ohm resistance for high wattage vaping, using mesh coil technology for better flavour. The 0.2 Ohm Smok A2 coil features dual mesh coil builds, this creates a larger surface area that provides a faster and more even heat for bigger clouds.
